Have an application that needs to be deployed on 20 client machines.
Application replicates from Servers to clients and resides on the client
Have a Local Scheduled agent that runs on every client every 30 minutes
Agent collects data from a folder on the pc and saves to a document.
Documents get replicated to the server reguarly.
Each Client uses a seperate id e.g. User1, User2, User3.
All users are in a group that have editor access to the database.
I can get the agent to kick off and start but get execution access on the agent.
The Servers address book is also replicated to the Local Machine and is set in the preferences as the secondary address book, the users are in this address book in a group which has editor access to the database.
Does the Local names.nsf get used for access control and do i need to put the group and users in the local names.nsf?
Any idea how i can get the agent to get execution privelages for all users?
Scheduled Agents is enabled and backgroung agents is enabled in the Database properties
The agent does not use any UI commands is lotus script.
The client machines do not have designer installed and do not want to have each user having to do any configuration if possible to get the agent to run
Would appreciate any insight on how to get this working

If your agent is reading files on the user’s computers, you’ll also need to make sure that the runtime security level for the agent (second tab on the agent properties) is set to at least ‘2. Allow Restricted Operations’

Mike - please be more specific about what error you are getting and when you are getting it. Is it at the point when the agent tries to run? Is it during the code at some point? Can you run the agent manually on the local client?
