Local Agent Not Running on Schedule

We have an Domino Application that harvests information from data extracted out of our POS systems and imports them into our Domino Application into a form. The problem is that the Domino application is replicated down to the users local system and run locally, replicating the data at a specified period. The agent that does the harvesting of the information runs when the client or database is opened. We then have an agent that is suppose to run on a schedule to perform harvesting if the client is left open, this is where the issue is, the agent does run on the schedule that we have set up. We have checked ACL and signed the agent with the users id but nothing seems to work. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas. The agent runs some Lotus Script to do the harvesting

Did you check the client property File/Preferences/User Preferences → Enable scheduled local agents ?If yes, does the local scheduled agent log anything to the client log ?

Open the DB properties, under the 1st TAB “Database Basic” there is an option given " Disable Background agent for this DB" . If you have checked it then please uncheck it & all the agent will start running on this db.

Dani. The client has got Enable Scheduled Local agents checked. I will have to check the log on the client to see but im pretty sure we have checked and nothing is being written to the log
