Hello all,
I learnt from a colleague that Lotus Notes 6.5 can be loaded with the presence of the NOTES.INI file. Is this possible? Can anybody confirm this? Thanks in advance.

You can try running Notes with no notes.ini file, but you will always get the client configuration wizard which will create a notes.ini.

No, you need a notes.ini, it tells Notes all sorts of vital information such as which id file to use etc etc.
