Load LEI failed

Hey guys,

I'm trying to install HEI on Linux, and my Domino Server's version is 11.0.1 FP2.

Thers's a message for successfully installing HEI, and I have restarted Domino Server.

But when I load lei, it shows error message for missing key value, and it doesn't load successfully.

I will be most grateful if someone can teach me how to fix it.

Check the "Initialization file setting" in leiig.nsf. It seems that it is pertaining to the notes.ini, make sure you have the correct values for these parameters.

EIName
EIAdminServer
EITranslation
EXTMGR_ADDINS
ServerTasks

Hi there,

I find that these parameters don't exist in notes.ini:

EIName
EIAdminServer
EITranslation
EXTMGR_ADDINS

But I can't figure out why it happend. If you know how to resolve it, please help me.

Have you check the HEI Installation Guide (leiig.nsf) if you meet the requirements?

Hardware requirements

  • Visit the below site for Domino system and hardware requirements.https://support.hcltechsw.com/csm?id=kb_article&sysparm_article=KB0073794
  • On Domino installed system , Minimum 350MB disk space on Linux 64.


Software requirements

  • The HEI 11.0.1 version requires Domino version 11.0.1 or 10.0.1 FP4 be installed as a pre-requisite.
  • Note Domino Enterprise Edition and DECS must be installed prior to installing HEI.
  • HCL Notes 11.0.1 or 10.0.1FP4 client to administer the HEI Administrator database
  • HCL Domino 11.0.1 or 10.0.1FP4 server to manage the HEI Administrator database
  • Client libraries of the external systems to be accessed must be installed on the HEI server machine as well as the Domino server machine, if separate.
  • An X Window system server environment
  • X Window system client libraries



I'm thinking that not having the EXTMGR_ADDINS means you don't have DECS installed on the server. Some documentation as well regarding HEI.
