LN:DI to PDF converter for whole databases

Hi,

I’m searching for a solution to automatically convert all LN:DI Objects in an database to PDFs.

Does anybody know such a software solution?

I searched on the web and found the www.imaging4notes.com service. But I have to convert about 10-20 GB security related databases.

Hi Jan,welcome to the perils of OLE. The LN:DI objects are OLE. So you must write some LS code to activate them and then use their build in functionality to either export or print them. Export should be possible as TIFF. You could then use acrobat destiller watching the folder to do the conversion. Or - if print is an option use Ghostscript or Acrobat to “print” them to PDF.

The “www.imaging4notes.com service” is not a “service”. You run the conversion yourself so even if your data is classified (or, as you call it, security-related), Imaging Systems (the company) never sees your data.

The price of the conversion software is based on the number of databases and images you want to convert. There is a utility available that you can run to count the images. You then send this information to Imaging Systems for a price.
