I’ve noticed everyone commenting on some of the oddities occuring with HTML-based emails within Notes, but has Lotus ever published a guide as to using HTML in Notes? Document #7002941 notes some of the problems in R5 and previous, but I’ve yet to find anoything on specifically how to write well-formed HTML-based email specifically tuned not to screw up under Notes.
Anyone have a reference document they can refer me to?

Alas if it were only as easy as “HTML email.” The problem is more specifically how Lotus handles the HTML email. As I pointed to in my initial post, the most I can find is document #7002941 which doesn’t apply to the version we use (6.5) and doesn’t really state the rules.
You know, things like “‘colspan’ and ‘rowspan’ = heartache.” Just the basic fundamental things that will choke the client.
Heck, even hotmail has a page telling you format requirements for HTML email. I’d believe it, but I’d rather not think no such thing exists.
