Please share the license required to use the Maps widgets, we understand that it internally uses Google and Apple Maps.
Is there any payment / subscription required to use such a feature; Do we or our customer need to procure any licenses.
Hello,
The Widget uses Google Maps for Android and Web, and Apple Maps for iOS.
If no modification is done the the widget, there is no license impact.
For Google Maps, google has a pricing policy, but some features are included for free, specifically the Mobile Native Map and the Embed elements. Only these are used in the Kony widget of DBX, so there is no license needed.
For Apple Maps, apple doesn't require any license.
One important note is that the customer need to have their own API keys for these services. Even if there is no cost associated, they will need to create the relevant Google and Apple accounts and generate the keys.
Thanks,
Seeking an additional clarification, if google maps usage is covered free services.
regards
No it is not free. Google has a pricing model. You might want to check the current usage limits.

Assuming you have an API key in use, this is the current pricing model I believe. In case you haven't seen it already.
