My company would like to have a new letterhead apear on all emails. I have created the letterhead and it is available to all users to manaully select. What I would like to be able to do is to have the new letterhead automatically selected by user Domino Policies.
I have looked to using “Desktop policy” and “Custom Settings (notes.ini - DefaultLogo=stdNotesLtr800,Enforce)” to achieve this. Unfortunately this does not work.
Can anyone suggest how I can deploy and have this new letterhead enforced?
I have already updated the design for the mail template which has been applied to all users.
Do you know if there are any additional ini parameters other than “DefaultLogo” that need to be set? I can see that the policy does run and set the ini value. Unfortunately it does not set / select the Letterhead by default when I create a new message.
You need to have the new letterhead in the design of the mail file. Modify the mail template that the user mail files are based off of and the let the design task redesign them. Then you can deploy that notes.ini parameter via policy
