Hi all,we use LEI to replicate groups from one NAB to another.
In several groups, the summary flag for the members field is missing in the target database although it is in the source.
If I save the document in the database, the flag is there. After replicating, it disappears again
Have anyone an idea?
Many Thanks!

It might have to do with the amount of data in the field. Are the documents that are missing the summary flag those with the longest members list?

Hi Andre, yes, in three docs, the flag is missing. And in these docs the members field is about 8500 Byte. Can this be the problem? What can I do? Is splitting the groups the only solution?

8500 bytes shouldn’t be too much – you should be able to go up to at least 12000. But it’s possible that LEI is applying some smaller limit than the Notes client does – which would explain why they switch to summary when you edit them.
There aren’t any other large summary items being stored in these docs, are there? Because there’s a per-document limit as well as a per-item limit. Use the document properties infobox from a view and look at all the items.
If nothing else works, then yes, you might have to break them into subgroups. I doubt there’s anything you can do to convince LEI to adjust its test for when it makes something summary, if that’s what’s going on.

Hi Andre,it seems so. We tested it step by step, user by user. And at a certain count, the flag disappears in the target database. So we will split the groups.
Many thanks!!!
