Left column for status mail to delete

I updated my client and server to 8.0.2. I cannot seem to delete email like I did on 7.0.3.

The left column in the mailbox view, I could scroll down the left column and click each mail item in bulk, then press delete to delete mail.

What happen to this column in 8.0.2 client? I see the flags but not way to select mail to delete.

I can pick mail in the view line by line but that is very time intensive.

Subject: Selection margin

By default the new inbox uses the windows selection model (use shift or control to select multiple).

You can turn the selection margin back on in the preferences, under basic options - it’s the bottom option I think.
