Hi,
I have configured my server to be a LDAP server. I read the LDAP documentation and all config docs are ready and ok in the server to work with Internet Sites.
The problem is when somebody try to access the LDAP server, he receive this message:
“LDAP server connection failed in SSL initialization attempt”
and the server console display:
“LDAP Server: All authentication methods for TCP/IP port are disabled in site document for organization xxxxx”
I’m not using SSL to connect to the server and the LDAP site doc permit anonymous connections.
If I switch the server document to use “web server configurations” LDAP works fine, but if I change to Internet Sites LDAP server rejects connections.
Any idea?

Subject: RE: Solved
The problem is because our names.nsf is in spanish, every time we change the language of the names.nsf to english, LDAP works fine, but not in spanish.
Yes, it seems be a bug. We have reported to IBM, they said us that they will reproduce in their laboratory to find a solution.
We have decided suspend LDAP service in our company because is not posible to maintain the names.nsf in other language than spanish.

The same problem occurs in 6.0.1CF1 German.Changing the design of the domino directory to english works fine.
Subject: Same trouble with English names - solved
Hi,
We had the same issue with an English names.nsf on 655a. Simply adding an LDAP site to the organisation in the Internet Sites view solved the issue for us. I guess one needs to respect the right organisation name (server O identifier?)…
