I am having trouble making a ‘lcconnection’ accept the password. Connection is always failing. Can’t for the life of me see why. Here’s the code. Looking at the debugger screen, the con.password NEVER accepts the password.
Dim db As NotesDatabase
Dim session As New NotesSession
Dim con As New LCConnection(“odbc2”)
Set db = session.currentdatabase
'Set connection for Data Warehouse 2
con.Server = “dw_prod_wh2”
con.Userid= “WarehouseUser”
con.Password = “Liberty”
con.Metadata = “dw_prod.dbo.BFA_Workflow_Costs”
The con.Password refuses to take anything at all, while all the other properties take the values fine.
