Layout Region Buttons and TAB order not working!

The TAB key can not be used to give a button focus if it is in a Layout Region using the Notes Client!

To recreate this issue do the following.

  1. Create a new form.

  2. Create a layout region in the form.

  3. Add two Buttons and two fields to the form.

  4. Save the form.

When you try to create a new document using the form, you can not use the tab key to get to the buttons.

This was possible in R4.X, and R5.x.

How is this done in R6.X?

Is this a R6.x bug?

Am I missing something new?

Does anybody know how to make this work?

I have reproduced this issue using an R6.5.1, and an R6.5.2 client using window XP and Windows 2000.

Subject: I suppose it’s a bug

I can reproduce the problem as you described it. AFAIK there are no new ‘features’ to control tabbing order.

Mind that the use of layout regions is depreciated.

You should submit this bug to Lotus.
