Journaling - Invisible Subject Column

I’ve got journaling set up and running, and it is working fine, for the most part. However, when I open the Mail Journaling (mailjrn.nsf) database, no matter which view I go to the Subject line of the emails does not appear.

I’m listed in the journaling configuration in the field “Encrypt on behalf of user”, and I can open and read the messages just fine. And all of the other columns of information (Count, Date, Time, From) appear just fine. But the subject column in every view is blank.

I right-clicked on some of the items and looked at the field properties, and all of the fields in the email show “$SealData”, which I suppose is because the mail is encrypted. If I double-click and open a message I can see all of the fields fine.

So my question is, since the Journaling db has to be encrypted (it would not let me proceed otherwise), and since the fields showing the content of the message can’t be displayed in a view listing, why is there a “Subject” column?

Or am I the only one experiencing this?

Include the subject field in the “Field encryption exclusion list”-field in the Journalling configuration.

Boy don’t I feel sheepish. It’s right there with the rest of the settings.

Thanks for being patient with pointing out the obvious.
