document.form[0].Form!=“Contents” but was’t functioning.

Subject: JavaScript - Form name
JavaScript can only query the HTML that’s prsent on the web page. If you don’t have a value for Form on the page, then you can’t ask what it is. In edit mode, you can look at the name attribute of the tag to see if it contains the form name you are looking for (it won’t be equal to, usually, but document.forms[0].indexOf(‘YourFormName’) will be greater than -1).
That said, it looks like you are trying to do back-end stuff in a view. The document is still back at the server – you can’t ask questions about what it might look like if it were already loaded in the browser.
