Hi,We have a running Domino 6.0.1 -with its all current updates- on RedHat 8.0 server but we have a problem with a java applet. With that applet users are making some choises among the items on a list via Internet Explorer and sending their choices to the server but server do not receive them correctly. If a user makes three or more choices server does not receive one of them. Version of IE does not make any change.
On the other side the same applet works properly on Windows 2000 Server.
What might be the problem and how can we solve it?
Some users are using the inotes60.ntf and some users are using the mail6.ntf. From IE client (ver. 5.5 > 6.0 sp1)Inotes works fine, BUT, the standard mail client will not load the ‘New Memo’ and ‘Reply’ buttons. Basically, domino.actionbar issues.
i have tried install java clients ver 1.3, 1.4.1 and 1.4.2. i have made sure that within IE ‘Tools’ ‘Internet Options’ ‘Advanced’ Java (SUN) and JIT compiler is checked.
But unfortunately i haven’t had any luck.
Why use the standard mail template? Its much faster!
why does jave load for inotes BUT not for the standard mail template?
I have the same problem on my tablet PC with Windows XP and IE6 installed. The only difference is that the Domono server is running on Windows 2000 machine. iNotes template is OK. It works on my laptop (Sony VAIO Z1RA) with the same version of WinXP and IE. It also works on every other machine with Windows 2K/IE6. Is this an issue for WinXP/IE6/Tablet? No, I have seen the same problem on a desktop PC with WinXP/IE6. Any one can help on this?
