Dear all,
I am an experienced domino admin, with good dev skills inside lotus domino. I have coded a lot of Formula, Lotusscript, and a few java agents.
A few days ago, i saw that MS Visual J Sharp express was free. It was a long time i wanted to try dot net…
so i downloaded it, set up all this, and have been able to display the famous “Hello World !” in a few seconds …
I know that a domino server can be accessed by java programs threw CORBA/DIIOP. I don’t exactly know how it really works, but i can understand some sample code found here and there.
Now, i am trying to make this work with J Sharp. The problem, is that i can’t tell jSharp “Set CLASSPATH”, so i can not import lotus.domino.*
Does someone knows how to do that ?
FYI, here is the sample code i would like to run with J# :
import lotus.domino.*;
public class platform6 implements Runnable
{
String host=null, user="", pwd="";
public static void main(String argv[])
{
if(argv.length<1)
{
System.out.println("Need to supply Domino server name");
return;
}
platform6 t = new platform6(argv);
Thread nt = new Thread((Runnable)t);
nt.start();
}
public platform6(String argv[])
{
host = argv[0];
if(argv.length >= 2) user = argv[1];
if(argv.length >= 3) pwd = argv[2];
}
public void run()
{
try
{
Session s = NotesFactory.createSession(
host, user, pwd);
String p = s.getPlatform();
System.out.println("Platform = " + p);
}
catch (Exception e)
{
e.printStackTrace();
}
}
}
