My company has deployed Lotus Client version 8.0 over Novell’s SuSE Linux versions 10.1 and 10.2 on Desktop computers.
Unfortunately, however, it has been noticed that on a significant number of users have been facing the following problems:

Lotus Client, when opened for the first time, takes a lot of time to display the authentication option, i.e., obtaining the respective user password.

Choosing the print option when trying to take a print of an open email, often results in the entire application slowing down. In fact, it often gives the impression that the entire computer has hanged. After an inexplicable delay of a few minutes or so, the print option is enabled and then the user is able to take prints.
As the matter is most urgent, may I request you to please extend your help and advice as early as possible.
