Hello everyone. I have a Lotus script process developed on Lotus Domino 6.5 runnig on the client also 6.5.
With this process actived by a button the user inserts on a RichTexField text, one or more attachments, or pictures. After the user press the button, the process appends the content the user just inserted in to an historical content field (Other RichTextField).
In the Script I defined of course this two fields as RichTextField, and to place the content of the imput field on the Historical field the follwoing code
Call rtitem.AppendRTItem( dlgrtitem )
Call rtitem.Update
Call rtitem.Compact
I also use style to format the historical field, but I do this before I apply AppendRTItem method.
This works ok on the 6.5 version, but the client desktop was migrated to Lotus Notes 7.0. The application server is still with 6.5. After that, every attempt of the user to do this action he receives the following Message “Item xxx is Invalid”(xxx is the historical field). If I try the same action with my 6.5 client, I can do it without any problems.
It seems that the new version is giving the problem.
Any sugestions or soluctions ??
