Issues in migration

I have to migrate from kony 7.3 to 8.3.I have already upgraded visualizer to V8.3 but not fabric(V7.2).My application was created using Visualizer 7.3 and Fabric 7.2. Do we need to upgrade fabric as well to run the application.

Getting error with sync service as following:

"msg" :Client application version ac1403b042f8c1ab1369ac45fc21ccbf0e5345aa04b1ff1875fddfc73f54268d for application Id 100000002b8942953 is not matching to server application version.,

"errcode" : "SY3005E"

Any suggestion regarding the Issue.

Hi,

This error is due to the mismatch in the sync files. Replacing the sync files with the latest from the MF would resolve this issue.

Please let us know if you face any issues after replacing the sync files with the latest.

I Would like to know whether we can get latest sync files by "Refreshing sync client code"?

Like As I didn't upgraded my fabric(currently in v7.2).so will there be any change in sync files?

Yes, you can get the latest sync files by "Refreshing sync client code". The sync files wont change if you didn't upgrade the fabric app. The sync files change if you make any changes in the sync config file in the server and publish.

yes,but did change anything in the sync config file in the server ....Every thing is working as expected in visualizer 7.3.

Imported the same application in Visualizer 8 but not sure why I am getting this sync error in visualizer 8 .
