Issue with configuration of HCL Traveler for Microsoft Outlook

Operating System: Windows Server 2025
Add-on Product: HCL Traveler for Microsoft Outlook

Problem/Query:

I have two domino servers 14.5 (along with Traveler server) in cluster running on windows server 2025 on two different VM in Oracle VirtualBox.

Both the servers are accessible from my local machine. On my local machine I have installed HCL Traveler for MS Outlook, when I try to connect mail, I get below error message:

Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel

Anyone has any idea how to get it fixed?

Note: SSL/TLS certificate is self-signed.

Sorry, I missed one thing to post. I already imported the SSL/TLS certificate in Trusted Certificate Authorities via mmc in local machine.

Were the instructions from the documentation used when importing the certificate?

Importing the server certificate

When you access Traveler via a browser, do you also encounter trust errors?

If the issue persists, we recommend opening a support case so the certificate can be checked.

Server certificate imported as mentioned in product documentation, while accessing Traveler via web browser it says connection not secure.

Have you tested this using Chrome or Edge? If yes, and you’re still seeing “Connection not secure” even after adding the certificate to the correct store, then the issue might be with the certificate itself—such as a hostname mismatch, missing chain, or other validity problems.

Please consider opening a support case for further checking.
