I am working for a Notes shop (6.0.3 - clients and servers). We recently formed a business relationship with another organization using Microsoft Exchange 2000.
We would like to ensure that meeting invitations and subsequent related correspondence (acceptances/declines) work properly between out two organizations (eg. Auto-updating the calendar on both sides).
We have completed the testing, and we can get it all to work perfectly, as long as the Notes client is set to Format for messages addressed to internet addresses as “Notes Rich Text Format”.
Well, that’s alright if you don’t use HTML in your messages and don’t want to maintain the integrity of your message formats when you send to other Internet recipients!
So, my question is, are we able to split this functionality? In other words, are we able to specify that all Internet-bound messages destined for a particular domain (eg. “*.xyz.com”) are to be formatted using Notes Rich Text Format, and all other Internet-bound messages are to be formatted using MIME Format?
Thanks in advance for any assistance you may have to offer!
