Say that I created a form, with project plan start and completion date, and than I later update the actual start and completion date.
I saw some developer somehow manage to do something similar like Gantt chart in the view. However, I did not have the opportunity to get inputs from the developer himself.
Is this special coding? I am curious how did the developer manage to put horizontal line displayed in the view.
Any ideas from where I can further analyse this coding will be helpful.

Hi.
You will find a chart / project plan for Notes on www.jnotes.com. Take a closer look at “Tools”->Planer.
I modified the PlanerApplet by adding inter-dependency-lines like known from MS Project. Delay of project A will automatically mean a delay of the A-dependent project B.
Nice tool at jnotes.com but for extending the code, you need to know a bit about java-programming…

Hi.
What do you mean by client mode?
You can run this almost anywhere (in Notes); in a local DB or on the server. But only on a server this make sense because you share your project plan with others; and maybe other users add or delay some actions.
By the way. We also added PDF printing functionality in order to have nice prinouts we could send to customers or other concerned which have no notes system.

Sorry, there is no english explanation. But viewing the source code is like a roughly explanation as well! They also have a demo database; if you contact them, they will surely give you some english information as they sell workshops on their tools.
