Is there a way to save a file to the document not a rich text item in lotusscript? ie like a web upload

I am resizing uploaded jpeg images using LS2J in a web query save, and I want to replace the images in the web document.

Is there a way to save them to the document instead of having to save in a rich text item in lotusscript ?

Isn’t the document a sort of rich text field anyway?
