I am currently employing the freeware product Pop3Collect, which will retrieve email messages from an Office 365 account and put them in a Domino application database. However, Microsoft has recently changed it's security so that it no longer allows third party access to an email account with only the username and password.
Is there another method to get email messages from O365 and put them in a Domino application database?
We can't just forward them to the mail-in database address because the domain is not externally defined.
Thanks, Jessie. However, I'm not looking for an Outlook migration tool. I want to continue to use the Outlook account in Office 365, but have a utility to pull messages from that account and put them in my custom xpages application.
I know POP3 has an ability to download documents locally. But not sure what pop3 client would O365 will allow since the recent changes in security you mentioned. Maybe reaching out to Pop3Collect and see if they have a workaround for this recent changes.
I don't know, if this is allowed here. But as you specifically are asking for a product: Kindly check my employers' web site bcchub.com. We do have a product to transfer PIM data from O365 to Domino called "Mail Migration to HCL Domino". It can do daily / weekly / hourly delta synchronisations to update your Domino data according to changes / new mail in O365. All data in O365 stay intact and can be used as normal.
