is there a policy setting to set workspace as default homepage?

If possible I'd like it to skip the getting started and default homepage quiz and go straight to the workspace.

I searched the community forums and KBs but haven't like anything for this.

Hi Lesley

The only way to set the Workspace to be the Home Page is through the option
"Set bookmark as home page". This option needs to be set manually by
end-users. An Enhancement Request to enable this through policies is already exists for this issue.

The setting "set bookmark as home page" is safed inside the bookmark.nsf, so thats why this is complicated to predefine for some users.

There is a documenation how you can predefine this setting in the bookmark template (bookmark.ntf), so that a new bookmark.nsf will take this setting but you have to change the template before within designer client.

OR

You use a licensed panagenda marvel client; there you can create a job and within a setting to set a database or the workspace as a bookmark. This would be the preferred solution.

I used Set Bookmark As Homepage on Workspace and this caused my workspace to disappear. (Left workspace list is gone). Erasing bookmark.nsf, desktop.ndk, cache.ndk and workspace directory did not solve the problem.

I had to clear notes.ini and do a setup to bring the workspace.
