Is it okay to put the mail server in the ECL?

The problem is when we’re using the convert utility from the server to convert users’ V5 templates to V6 templates. If we use the option to upgrade personal folders, the next time the user goes to sign on they get an ECL alert because the server is the one that made the change and the server is not on the ECL. So what we’re wondering, is if it’s okay to put the mail server in everyone’s ECL or is that going to be some sort of security issue? Thanks in advance for any replies.

You should be fine to do that. I generally sign all of my databases as the server. You may want to add LocalDomainServers to the ECL if that is a set of servers that you would trust.
