I have an external application (Sametime add-in) that tries to create an appointment in my Notes calendar. If Notes is up and running, it works fine. If Notes is closed, I get an error message “The ID file is in use elsewhere and cannot be modified”.
This is a very old (back to R5) bug that IBM said was not going to be fixed in R6.5. I assume that means it was going to be fixed in R8, but it’s back again.
Anyone got an idea of what’s happening?
