iOS pictiures are getting big when sent via Sametime app

Hi,

Sametime Chat recipients on Windows are getting big pictures when I send pictures via the Sametime iOS app.

How can reduce the picture size prior sending via Sametime app?

This is well known issue (since Sametime 10).
Last summer I asked HCL Support and they said this will be fixed in future Sametime release.

Would be great to get update from them here

when sending files from the IOS Mobile App or for that matter the Android Mobile App

you are actually attaching a copy of the file as it exist on the device

to reduce the size , the Picture needs to be Cropped to a desired size before sending

Thanks for sharing this. Unfortunately these steps are too difficult for a common user.

HCL should add the cropping function in iOS and Android App.
