Invoking Lotus Notes from Microsoft Access

I have created a Microsoft Access ADP which under a particular circumstance uses the Access command “DoCmd.SendObject …” to send out an E-Mail to particular users (and they are using Lotus Notes for the default E-Mail client). The syntax of the Access code line follows:

DoCmd.SendObject acSendNoObject, , , 123@email.com, , , subject line, body text

This works fine except for one user. This user is on 6.5.5, while the other users are on 6.5.3. The problem is that when the new E-Mail message is created by Notes, the body text is inserted into the “To:” box of the new message along with the intended recipients’ E-Mail addresses. The body section of the new message is then left blank. The subject line is filled in correctly.

Could this be a problem with 6.5.5, and if so, would a newer release resolve the problem? As I said, I have verified it works on all other users’ PCs, but on the one PC with 6.5.5, it does not work.

Try to reinstall Lotus Notes client on that PC. SendMail is system setting and Windows gets it from Registry
