Invalid POST Request Exception

This happens on a webserver:29.06.2005 11:32:36 HTTP Web Server: Invalid POST Request Exception [/xxx.nsf/xxxx?OpenForm&Seq=1&BaseTarget=Center]

Cause might be:

My - causing client - content-length header value does not match the actual length of my POSTed content

Maximum post sizes of the server document in question are 100000 kb for content and 32 kb for header. This is not a ‘Webmail upload’ it is a simple webapplication.

So what should i do?

  • Manipulate the header for each request by myself? (not my intention)

  • Upgrade to 6.5.4?

  • Anything else, like going for a cold beer? (my decision now - cheers!)

apreciate any help

Subject: Invalid POST Request Exception

Server Response for the Client has incorrect checksum.

Transmission Control Protocol, Src Port: http(80), DST Port: 2763 (2763), Seq: 1, Ack: 680, Len:0

Source port: http (80)

Destination port: 2763 (2763)

Sequence number: 1 (relative sequence number)

Header length: 20 bytes

Flags: 0x0010 (ACK)

Window size: 16841

Checksum: 0x9934 (incorrect, should be 0x56a3)

What might cause the incorrect cheksum?

  • domino’s http-stack handing it incorrectly over?

  • windows tcp implementation?
