We have a couple of sites hosted on our Domino server. Both are working away happily with one site requiring user authentication and the other for “anonymous” viewing only.
Our problem is we wish to authenticate the second site users against a different directory (or have a way of differentiating the users) from the first site.
Our first site currently has a primary Domino Directory for admin users only. Other users are setup in an additional directory and the server is setup to authenticate against this additional directory using Directory Assistance.
How can I add a third directory and set each site to authenticate against it’s own directory.
(We use email addresses for usernames and so do not have a /O part of user names).
Apologies if this is already listed on here, but I’ve tried to find any mention of this problem but to no avail.

Bob,
I don’t know of a way to do exactly as you say, but is it possible to lump the users into groups and then use those groups to secure the files pertinent to each site? You could still keep the users in separate directories as long as the groups all reside in names.nsf. That’s what we do here.

i guess you could add a subdirectory in both directories that has a link to another directory where the third site is actually located. Or use session based authentication ?

All the directories I’m talking about are Domino Directories i.e. Public Name and Address Books. Not file structure directories. Sorry for perhaps not being too clear.
I’ve got site A using nabA.nsf to authenticate against.
How do I setup site B to only use nabB.nsf to authenticate and not check everything that’s listed in the Directory Assitance db.
