Go to NAB-Server-Configuration Doc for outgoing SMTP server-MIME-Advanced-Advanced outbound message Options

Set RFC822 phrase handling: to “Use CN as phrase”

This will only show users Common name to receipient of Internet mail

I already had this in this way, this is showing Internet address if I’m sending email out to external email address and this is exactly what I want, but what I also want is to not show OU/DN internally… is it doable without switching to route between notes server as smtp and also not messing up doc links

Yes this can be done.

Open the default mail template used by ur users in Designer client.

In the MEMO form you have to put an “input validation” check on the To, Cc and Bcc field to change the username so as to display only the CN (Common Name).

After this is done save the changes to the template and refresh the design of the mail fiels with this template.

Please note that for reply , forward mails different form is used, so you have to make changes to these forms as well.

Cheers.
