Hi,
We encountered a problem.
A user sends a mail to a Notes Mail group (ABC) ONLY.
However, the mail is sent to group AND also some unrelated persons.
No all user using the mail group has the same problem, some of them can send successfully.
We checked the user desktop and the sent mail.
The user has only one local address book and NO contacts in it,
And The field “RecipientGroupsExpanded” contains groups other than group ABC!!!
Any thought?

Subject: Internal Mails routed to wrong persons
If you check that users Local Address Book => GroupsDo they have a Group listed that has the same name as the Group (ABC)
This could be why this particular user is having issues sending as Notes will pick up the Local group first.

Subject: RE: Internal Mails routed to wrong persons
Hi Ads R,
We have found the cause.
Some people in the group ABC has resigned. The persons is removed from PAB by adminP.
However, the adminP process is not complete and the person document is removed but their entries in the related groups are still not removed.
When user sends mail with group ABC, Notes Client prompts “This names is not in directory” and displays a list of persons and groups to select.
The user IGNORES the prompt by pressing “OK” but not “Skip Names”. What this results is that Notes Client has selected a default group(BCD) in the prompt list, and if you have pressed “OK”, the default group is added to the mail send list, resulting in the issue.
We will look into any preventive action, e.g. deferring deletion of person in PAB on after-Office hours.
Thanks
Sam
