Interactive Services Detection - During Install

Hello -

We have a remote service (login is set to an user that is in the admin group on the server) running on our windows servers. When I make a call to this remote service to install “IBM Notes 9.0.1 Social Edition” with the command [setup.exe -s /v"/qn"] the install hangs.

When I manually log into the server as the install is hanging, I get the “Interactive Services Detection” dialog window popup.

So the install when executed remotely hangs with the ISD dialog below. Viewing the message just shows a black dialog box.

When I manually log into the server and run the setup.exe command above, the install works fine.

Any thoughts on this issue?

Thanks for the reply!

However, this install of “IBM Notes 9.0.1 Social Edition” is a fresh installation and the server does not have the Domino Service on it.

Any other ideas?

Subject: Interactive desktop

Go to the Domino Servicew and ensure that hte “Allow service to interact with desktop” opption has been deselected.
