The Pumatech web site says they now support Notes 6. I presume that is via a new release. Is anyone using it?
Thanks.

Subject: Intellisync with Notes 6?
I have tested Intellisync and Pylon Pro. I have decided on Cadenza mnotes from http://www.commontime.com. It is a much more powerful system than the others and support our custom databases on either the PocketPC or Palm OS.
Subject: RE: Intellisync with Notes 6?
I use Intellisync because it seems to be the simplest to allow a hybrid sync – address book and calendar from notes, memos and to-dos from Palm Desktop, and other applications (AA timetable, etc.).
In checking some of the other products, I haven’t found one that makes this kind of sync easy. Have I missed the obvious?
Thanks!

I do not like Intellisync’s GUI2. Pylon Pro was decent
Cadenza has what all the others have, but offers more if needed.
They all installed and offered easy setup of standard Notes databases. If that is all your looking for checkout prices. I prefer Cadenza, but others may prefer an alternative.

Matt -
Pardon my ignorance, but with Cadenza’s product can you sync address book and calendar from Notes, plus memo pad and to-do from Palm Desktop?
Their documentation led me to believe that their product would only sync Notes databases. I e-mailed them, and contrary to others’ experiences on this forum, never heard a word so I assumed they didn’t want to respond.
Thanks for the clarification!

John - When you install Cadenza mNotes, it asks you which mNotes conduits you want to install (Address, Calendar, Mail, ToDo, Memopad etc.). Any you do NOT install will carry on syncing with whatever they were syncing with before (e.g. your Palm desktop).

I am testing it right now. It appears to work fine. I am synching Notes 6.01CF and a Palm m500. I have had no problems.
Subject: RE: Intellisync with Notes 6?
I’ve just tried Intellisnc 5.1.2, and it worked for a day. Then, after creating a new replica to fix a replication problem, 5.1.2 has since failed with exactly the same symptoms as 5.1.1 did. Basically, it just hangs on the date book and never gets past.
Environment is XP Pro SP1, Intellisync 5.1.2, Notes 6.0.1.
Anyone else seen the same symptoms?
Incidentially, on a lark I downloaded mNotes 3.0.3 evaluation copy because of the high marks other forum members have given it. It worked first try.
Sounds like it may be time to drop Intellisync and switch to mNotes. Any thoughts?
Thanks!

I’ve seen quite a lot of that with Notes 6.5.x and Intellisync. I’ve been able to fix it by:
Archiving all old calendar entries. Anything more than 6 months old.
Creating a TEST local mailfile, then cutting/pasting all of the remaining calendar entries to it. I have had to creeate a “Delete Documents” agent to delete items that will not transfer.
Sync the blank Calendar.
Copy/Paste calendar entries from TEST back into the live mailfile.
Sync again.
Lots of steps, but it works.
