We are running Domino on SLES 8 (2.4.19 kernel). I have two servers that have had the same issue after reaching about 200 registered users and 150 active users. The problem is that we get the error:
11/29/2005 01:08:15 AM Insufficient TCP sockets are available. Consult your vendor’s TCP/IP documentation to increase the maximum number of sockets. - Automatically reducing TCPIP port maximum sessions to 16. Currently, 1 sessions are in the process of being recycled.

I worked with IBM to change a few items in the /etc/security/limits.conf file with no avail. Has anyone had these issues with SLES 8 and maybe assist me in a good standard configuration. We had this problem on a VM when we moved it from 512mb ram to 2 gigish then reverted back. The current server with issues has 2 gig physical ram.
