Hi, on one of our servers, we are getting the error " Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service " every now-n-then. I already searched the forum a lot of times for a potential solution but couldn’t find one. As per some suggestions, we are restarting the server whenever this warning appears. But sometimes, these restarts are more than once in a day.
Can anyone help me with a proper solution? Thanks in advance.

Is your server running a LOT of other things?This sounds more like a Windows error than having to do anything with Domino!

Even I suspect the same. But my server is running only Domino and nothing else. But what happened some days back was, the server showed some warning about low memory on Domino Admin and we archived many mailboxes and gained some space. But cache might be low or some other thing. Can’t come to a proper solution.

I’m now seeing this in the server log in the replication log documents.
Windows Server 2003 SP2 (4 Quad Processors, 4GB RAM), plenty of disk space.
Domino 6.5.6 FP2
Brand new server, only built in December with about 100GB of mailboxes on it.
Unable to replicate folder\usermailbox.nsf: Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service.

We were having this problem on one of our servers. when logged with IBM they went through a few debugs before determining it was definitely an os issue/which i was inclined to agree with.We ran a checkdisk on the disk and rebooted the server and it seemed to cure the problem.
However since that server problem, it has happened on three other servers. These are running Windows 2003 SP2 with 4gb of ram and quad core processors. 2.33ghz. 1 of these only runs domino with 30 users and about 65gb of mailboxes.
Again on two of these servers, we have run the checkdisk and it has cured the problem, but while the problem existed we were getting corrupt mail boxes. Especially when the overnight compact&catalog run.
I’d be interested if anyone knows a solution to this, as running a check disk everytime it happens isn’t really a solution.

We had the same issue on mult servers and IBM also were very confident it was a memory issue in win2003 server SP2. We also had some warnings in the windows event viewer and our Microsoft admin then applied a memory page pool fix…problem fixed.
This is a technote that relates to the memory issues we experienced.

I have checked event viewer we have no memory errors. We also have no messages relating to this error either. It is only domino that is having the problem.
