I login as ‘admin’ and try to open the iNotes\forms8.nsf, but the error of ‘You have insufficient access to perform this operation’. Please help how can I open the nsf. Thanks a lot!

Usually the “-Default-” Access to this Database is Reader.
Review the Access Control List (ACL) of the “iNotes/Forms8.nsf” Database and confirm that the following entries exist within the List:
People, Servers, Groups: User Type: Access:
- Default - Unspecified Reader
Anonymous Unspecified Reader
Local Domain Servers Unspecified Manager
If you find that one or more of the following entries do not exist, contact your Lotus Administrator to have them added.

Thanks Evan! I have checked the ACL. All three entries are exist. Also, I login as ‘adminstrator’, but the ‘Add’ button is disabled. Anything else should I check? Thanks for any suggestions!

Ok, so it seems as though you have all of the default-settings for the iNotes/Forms8.nsf Database. With that-said, try the following:
Note: The following procedure requires your Lotus Notes canonical-name to be present within the “Full Access administrators” field of your Domino Server’s Server Document.

Open Lotus Administrator client.

Connect to the Server where the Forms8.nsf Database resides.

Then, click on the Administration menu → Full Access Administration.

Next, open Lotus Designer client.

Then, open “iNotes/Forms8.nsf” Database.
