installShield with 8.02 : ITW file prohibits opening of the MSI file

I am trying to build a new mst file for customizing 8.02 client install. I did it with 8.01 with no problem but with 8.02 I have the error message :

“Tuner in unable to open the 'Lotus Notes 8.0.2.msi’MSI File. The ITW file prohibits opening of the MSI file”

I use the defaut.itw file. Where is the correct itw file located ? (i have no CD, I downloaded the 8.02 from passport advantage site)

Subject: LotusNotes.itw

I did the following:

  1. Install the InstallShield Tuner for Lotus Notes.

  2. Download Lotus Notes 8.0.2 full client.

  3. Run setup; specify a folder for files.

  4. Cancel installation after saving files.

  5. Start InstallSheild Tuner and browse to folder in step 3.

  6. Select “LotusNotes.itw” as tuner configuration file.

Subject: I extracted all files from C1MI6FR.exe

(downloaded on passport advantage site) with winzip but there is no itw file. did you try this with 8.02 ?

Is there a difference between extracting files and proceding to an installation and then cancelling it ?

Subject: there is an itw file in the basic client but it doesn’t work with full version .msi

Subject: Investigating.

We will provide a new .itw file as soon as I can reproduce and understand the issue.

I tried to create a package for 8.0.2 german.

There is a .itw file on PA in the Basic Client package, but not in the Standard Client package.
