Hi,While Installing the trial version of Domino 8.0 server on Windows 2003 I was able to install Domino Server 8.0, but while configure(setup) facing an error " ***************************************************************************
An error occurred during license use management initialization.Ensure that you are running Domino with a valid license file.

Can someone guide me/suggest soln to overcome this problem ? It would of great help.

The issue has been reported and Lotus is aware of it. The problem is related to the license file in the Domino 8 Trial. Lotus is currently remaking the Domino 8 Trial and should be released by the end of this month.

Subject: moving data folder
I got this error when I moved the data folder from c: drive to d: drive.I did the usual thing:
stop server
move files
update “directory” line in notes.ini
update keyfilename" line in notes.ini
restart: error: “license use management initialization”
The ‘solution’ apatr from reinstaling: check the registry.
I looked for “domino\data” (where the old value was) and it was in two keys, both of which needed to be changed:
HKey_Local_Machine\SOFTWARE\Lots\Domino\DataPath
and
HKey_Local_Machine\SOFTWARE\Lots\Domino\1\DataPath
Started OK then.
