Installation Error: "Cannot locate Websphere Studio" Lotus Domino Toolkit for Websphere 1.0

Hi there,I tried to install the Lotus Domino Toolkit for Websphere and got the error:

“Cannot locate Websphere Studio. Lotus Domino Toolkit requires that Websphere Studio is installed. Please specify an alternate JRE location to continue the installation.” [OK].

The next screen prompts:

Please enter the location of the JRE:

I tried quite a number of variations: the Java directory, the Java\bin, Java\bin\java.exe

but nothing workes.

I’m using Websphere Studio Application Developer Integration Edition V5.

I remember having also trouble with the IBM Portal Toolkit (but there I could patch a batch file that looked for WSAD and not WSIE).

Any help?

Hi,I had the same problem. Try C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere Studio\runtimes\base_v5\java\jre

It worked in my case. The target directory has to be modified to:

C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere Studio\wstools\eclipse\plugins

The installation program has a strange default (C:\IBM\Program Files.…).
