The installation guide of Sametime 12 references to and old guide that was specifically created to do the Setup of Sametime 11.6 on EKS. That previous guides references to sereral files to automatize the creation of the EKS cluster, using a specific configuration. In fact, there is 2 specific AMI images distributed, one for the main node, and other one for the video.
The cluster.yml file that was distributed with Sametime 11.6 to create such an EKS cluster is not longer included on Sametime 12, so I guess that the old guide is not valid for Sametime 12.
Can please some one confirm that ? Do I still need to use specific AMI images for the worker nodes needed for main and video containers ?

The guide that was created for 11.5 will not work for version 12.
You can find the cluster.yaml file in the location where you unzipped the Sametime 12 installation package. It is under /kubernetes/stack/eks/cluster.yaml
I checked it on my environment and it references an AMI for recorder that has the sound driver built in. I am not sure of any other AMIs (I was thinking there was one for video) but I can help you figure this out. Let's get together offline.
