Dear All,i have no notice of this solution !
I have a notebook with LN 7.0.2 client+designer+administrator. I wish to install also LN 8.5 client+designer+administrator
for some costumer i need to develop some application in rel 7.0.2 and for another customer an application with rel 8.5.
it is possible to have both rel 7.x and 8.5 on the same pc ?

Rename the current Notes directory to (e.g.) \Notes702Start with: C:\Lotus\Notes703\notes.exe “=C:\lotus\notes703\notes.ini”
Install 8.5 into the default directory.
Start with icon generated on desktop.

i have the following shortcut for the client
C:\Programs\lotus\notes\notes.exe “=C:\Programs\lotus\notes\notes.ini”
i must change it in:
C:\Programs\lotus\notes702\notes.exe “=C:\Programs\lotus\notes702\notes.ini”
and any reference to de data directory ?
(C:\Programs\lotus\notes702\data) what should i do ?

Edit your notes.ini file, search and replace

Is LN 8.5 ‘officially’ supported in the ‘Notes on a stick’ mode? There used to be some pretty good information floating around on how to actually do that with 7.x.x but have not seen anything for 8.5.
