Inotes only spell check runs but does not find any spelling errors. This happens from all tested mail databases. The dictionary is set to server default. Same mail database spell check works inside notes client.

We are also having this same issue. We have two clustered 8.5.1 servers and one works fine and the other comes back with “no spelling errors found”

Made an OS copy of the “jvm” and “ndext” from a working server of the same domino version and deleted a jvm5 folder I found. Restarted HTTP.
