Dear People,

I need a help to use or configure iNotes for Outlook, because I configured (using a technote iNotes for Outlook for Domino 6.0.2) and isn’t work and what I configured don’t show errors or problems, simply don’t work.

I didn’t find redbooks or whitepaper for configuration iNotes for Outlook in Domino 6.5.

Thank’s a lot,

I just started doing this for another client yesterday. Download a copy of the R6.5 Release Notes – the documentation there on setting up iNotes for Outlook access is VERY detailed. For Outlook 2000, you actually have to create a customized version of the PSTPRX32.DLL file (found in Program Files/Common Files/system/mapi/1033/NT).

One thing that is NOT documented in the release Notes: Make sure that the mail settings in the person doc are set for POP/IMAP, and include the user’s Internet mail addr. Also set the HTTP password… Outlook will use both of these for authentication. Make sure that the HTTP task is loaded on the Domino server, as well as the IMAP task.

The server also has to be set up for DOLS… this can be found in the R6.x Admin Help database.

The release notes also have a significant list of Known Issues in using iNotes for Outlook, some of which may be show-stoppers for me.

HTH…

Thank’s Chris for response,

But I read a Release Notes and it’s equal a technotes that I found, I checked all Servers configurations and DOLS configuration, it’s OKAY.

I checked person document and mail system - OK;

I checked services HTTP, IMAP, POP and SMTP - OK;

I checked connection between server and client (Outlook) - OK;

Maybe I have problems with arquives that I need created (I using Pkzip 6.0, because pkzip 2.5 isn’t free) or my DOLS isn’t works, but I checked and in server show that:

“HTTP Server: DSAPI Domino Off-Line Services HTTP extension Loaded successfully”

See de error that I open Outlook and insert my password:

"There may be server or network problems or your timeout interval may be tooshort.
