iNotes chat on port 80, How?

Mail Server =Domino 6.5Sametime 3.1 on Domino 6.5, IP Tunneling on port 80

How do I configure iNotes Web Browser to use port 80 for Instant Message? I have configured IP Tunneling on Port 80, the Sametime Meeting and Sametime Connect client works on port 80, but iNotes are trying to use port 8081 when I launch “Chat” in iNotes Web Browser.

Someone correct if I’m wrong… I believe Chat will attempt to use 8081 first. If that port is closed then it will try and use port 80. You see, the iNotes client doesn’t know how the Sametime server is configured, so it will try port 80 as a last resort.

Thanks for your posting.Problem maybe is the iNotes “Chat” Link in the inotes6.ntf or forms6.nsf, when you click chat, it will not show your presence or awareness. If I launch Sametime Connect Client, it can chat and meeting on the port 80.

I did modified stsrc.nsf WebConnect-IE subform to set client’s Browser default connection to port 80.
