iNotes and Windows XP sp2

We have a problem with iNotes on computers running Windows XP sp2.

When certain messages appear in the user’s inbox, the inbox becomes inaccessible, with the error message ‘Error encountered fetching data…’ displayed when the inbox is accessed.

This problem only occurs with Windows XP sp2. Does anyone know how to fix this? We are running Domino 6.0.2 cf1.

I recommend upgrading your Domino server. I had the same problem with 6.5.1 and 6.5.2. It works now after applying Hotfix 382 for 6.5.2. I wouldn’t trust any lower versions to support iNotes/Web Access and XP SP2.

Make sure you don’t have the pop up blocker on. If you must leave it on, set it to accept pop ups from that site.

Another thing to check is in IE In Tools / Internet Options / Advanced switch off “Use HTTP 1.1”
