I understand that Microsoft has now officially released IE7.
Any official word on what the compatibility and support is for iNotes and IE7?
I kow there were issues with beta IE7 releases.
Thanks.

Subject: Possible workaround
The Native XMLHttpRequest support in IE7 causes DWA to go down a different code path which has uncovered a few issues which we are working on (most of these have already been resolved in DWA 7.0.2). However, IE 7 does provides an option setting to “turn off Native XMLHttpRequest” and this might be a viable workaround for folks running older DWA releases.
Subject: RE: Possible workaround
Just to clarify for everyone where you do this:
For IE 7 on Vista, in IE7, go Tools – Internet Options – Advanced. In the Security Section, just above Phishing Filter, untick “Enable Native XMLHttpRequest”
Subject: Possible workaround…it works, but…
I have some problem on IE7, I turn off this function, it did make the mail list show up,
but I still can’t write new mail or reply mail,
because the rich text box cannot display,
I’ve already set the lowest security level,
and alow all the activex and cookies,
what else I can do?
(domino 6.0.2 CF1)

Hi,
We’re running 6.5.3 on our servers and the turn off native xmlhttprequest worked for us with the full release of IE7.
Nice catch!
Now if there’s a simple fix for Firefox 2 like that I’d be very happy ![]()

Subject: DWA and ND7 Works for me
DWA running on a 7.0.2 and 7.0.2FP1 server works for us with both IE7 and FireFox2.
