Inotes Activex attachment window not loading on one machine

An odd one…I have checked the forums but no joy

2 machines (XP)

broswers (IE6SP1)

logging into network as the same user and then signing into Inotes

On one machine, the activex attachment window loads (when composing a new message)

One the other machine, the activex window does not load leaving the old “add attachment” option.

The classes have loaded onto the machine that is working, but wont load onto the other machine…

Again, identical network login and Inotes login.

Has anyone seen this before?

You should check the security settings of IE and make sure they are identical. Also you may want to check XP security settings.

Also IE is usually storing a log file starting with ?CodeDownloadErrorLog! in the Temporary Internet Files. You may use it for debugging.
